TERMS & CONDITIONS — NEW MEMBER PRIZE DRAW The Balgowlah Bowling Club Ltd ("The Bally") — March 2026 Membership Promotion
Promoter The promoter is The Balgowlah Bowling Club Ltd (ABN 24 000 148 443), 1427 Bareena Drive, Balgowlah Heights NSW 2093. Telephone: (02) 9948 6377. Website: thebally.com.au
Promotion Period The promotion commences on 15 February 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 March 2026 ("Promotion Period"). Memberships purchased outside of this period are not eligible for entry.
Eligibility The promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who purchase a new eligible membership during the Promotion Period. The following persons are not eligible to enter:
current financial members of The Balgowlah Bowling Club Ltd as at 15 February 2026; directors, officers, employees, and immediate family members of The Balgowlah Bowling Club Ltd; and any person involved in the administration of this promotion.
- Eligible Memberships and Entries Only the following new membership tiers are eligible for entry into the draw:
Social+ Membership ($50/year) — 1 entry per membership purchased Social VIP Membership ($250/year) — 7 entries per membership purchased
The $10 Social Membership does not confer any entry into this draw. Existing members who upgrade their membership to an eligible tier during the Promotion Period will receive the applicable number of entries for the upgraded tier, provided the upgrade occurs within the Promotion Period and the difference in membership fee is paid in full. Entries are not transferable and have no cash value. One set of entries is awarded per eligible membership purchase regardless of payment method.
How to Enter To enter, purchase an eligible membership via thebally.com.au/memberships during the Promotion Period and complete all required registration details. Entry is deemed received at the time of successful payment. The promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries.
The Prizes Two (2) separate prizes are available in this promotion. Each prize is independent and will be drawn separately. One entrant may not win both prizes. Prize 1 — Lifetime Membership 1 × Lifetime Membership to The Balgowlah Bowling Club Ltd (Social+ tier equivalent). Estimated retail value: $1,000 (based on 20 years at the Social+ annual membership rate of $50 per year). The Lifetime Membership is issued in the winner's name, is non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash. It confers Social+ tier membership benefits as defined by the club from time to time. Membership benefits are subject to change at the club's discretion. The winner may separately elect to upgrade their Lifetime Membership to Social VIP tier by purchasing a Commemorative Brick ($1,000) through the club's standard brick programme; this upgrade option is a separate commercial transaction and does not form part of the prize. Prize 2 — Hatted Chef Private Dinner 1 × Private dinner for up to fifteen (15) guests prepared by Executive Chef Chris Lee at The Balgowlah Bowling Club. Estimated retail value: $3,750. The dinner is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. It must be booked and held within twelve (12) months of the winner being notified, subject to venue availability and reasonable notice. Menu, date, and time are to be agreed between the winner and the club. The club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the promoter's control.
The Draw Two separate draws will be conducted. The first draw determines the winner of Prize 1 (Lifetime Membership). The winning entry is then removed from the pool before the second draw is conducted to determine the winner of Prize 2 (Hatted Chef Private Dinner). Both draws will take place at 1427 Bareena Drive, Balgowlah Heights NSW 2093 at 6:00pm AEDT on Friday 3 April 2026. Each draw will be conducted by a method that ensures each entry has an equal chance of selection relative to its weighting. The draws are open to independent scrutiny.
Winner Notification Each winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within two (2) business days of the draw using the contact details provided at the time of entry. If a winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the first notification attempt, or is found to be ineligible, a redraw will take place for that prize under the same conditions.
Publication of Winners Each winner's first name and suburb will be published on The Bally's website (thebally.com.au) and social media channels within fourteen (14) days of the draw, unless the winner objects in writing prior to publication.
Privacy Personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering this promotion and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or to conduct the draw. By entering, participants consent to their information being held and used in accordance with The Balgowlah Bowling Club Ltd's Privacy Policy.
General Conditions The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify any entrant who provides false or misleading information, tampers with the entry process, or acts in a manner inconsistent with these terms and conditions. The promoter's decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter is not responsible for any tax implications that may arise from winning a prize; independent financial advice should be sought by the winner. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
